Hiring the Theatre

In addition to our own in-house productions, the theatre is available to hire to incoming companies. Our maximum capacity is 90 and the current rental is £950 per week with a one-off payment of £120 for inclusion in our brochure, which is distributed through London Calling and our own mailing list.

We programme in seasons, aiming for a balance between new and classic texts throughout the year. We are usually booked up 3-4 months in advance, but this can vary throughout the year.

We ask for any proposals to be sent by post to the Playhouse with a one-page synopsis of the production and all the relevant details.

We ask companies to be responsible for their own press and listings and to provide their own stage management.

We provide front of house and help with get-ins as agreed in a contract which we discuss in detail with the production team. We offer as much support as we can through out the production process.

We work with many agencies across the country and welcome new partnerships.
